Adam Kern

Adam Kern is an Associate Technical Staff in the Integrated Missile Defense Technology Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. His interests lie in robust and ethical AI/ML techniques and the legal impacts of automated technologies. Mr. Kern is currently researching the application of data science techniques to missile defense algorithms. He has also contributed to software that enables researchers to fit complex radar models to observed data and apply new deep learning techniques to the radar domain. Mr. Kern joined the Lab in March 2020 after interning in 2019. He received his BS and MS in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis, graduating cum laude.
